ISLAND LIVING

The Sarasota/Manatee area nestles up to the Gulf of Mexico and is home to several distinct barrier islands, all offering a unique flavor and lifestyle. 

• Anna Maria
  On North Longboat in Manatee County you will find Anna Maria.  A tropical flare and a informal lifestyle are savored by Anna Maria’s residents.  A community focused on preservation, you will not find many high rise buildings on the island, thus preserving the  amazing views. In addition, the island also is a haven for many species of wildlife drawing many artists to the area.  The homes vary in style from charming Florida bungalows to distinctive modern structures.  Whatever your taste in housing, most residents are drawn to the island for the same reason…lifestyle.

• Bird Key
  An exclusive enclave of residences, Bird Key is made up of approximately 500 homes, providing residence to many area professionals and a few national celebrities. WEST OF THE TRAIL

• Cherokee Park
  Traditional homes on quiet streets, nestled among mature trees transcend the times.  A popular area for new renovations in a well established neighborhood with some of the homes enjoying a waterfront view.

• Granada
  Despite being close to busy Bay Road with its car dealerships and shopping complexes, Granada is a quiet, low-key neighborhood where hardly any resales come up.

• Harbor Acres
  Located along Sarasota Bay, lushly landscaped streets and a collection of upscale homes offer a wonderful place to live.  This convenient location is between Sarasota Memorial Hospital and Downtown is a much desired address by the professional community.

• The Landings
  The Landings is 24 hr secured, gated community.  It offers single-family homes and condominiums. Most of the homes were built in the 1980s and architectural home styles are mostly mixed from Florida ranch to custom waterfront mansions. Some of the older homes are being updated by adding all the designer touches in kitchens, bathrooms and fabulous new landscaping.  This beautiful community a great family neighborhood or retirement community.

• McClellan Park
  Charming and tranquil best describe the flavor of this quiet neighborhood of mostly older homes, now many being renovated.  You can feel the history as you stroll through the narrow, winding streets of one of Sarasota’s most enduring and beloved communities.

• Oyster Bay
  A prestigious address, Oyster Bay is close to Field Club, one of Sarasota's oldest and most venerable private clubs.
